Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19 is finally here, and it completely changed the game! In this breakdown, I go over all the major moments, power scaling shifts, and the shocking reveal of Adult Super Saiyan 4 Goku!My commentary:
Dragon Ball Daima Episode 19 Officially came out on Crunchyroll! Which introduced all of the Z Fighters in their Adult Forms, instead of being Mini! As a result, I wanted to do a full breakdown, and review of what happens in Episode 19! As well as a preview of Dragon Ball Daima Episode 20! We have a few big developments, which also include SSJ3 Vegeta VS 3rd Eye King Gomah, as well as Goku Transforming into Super Saiyan 4!
Glorio’s Wish finally turns Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the others back into adults, giving them their original forms.
Vegeta takes on King Gomah alone in BASE FORM and actually holds his own, proving why he’s one of the strongest warriors in the series.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta DOMINATES King Gomah, the same villain that completely destroyed Mini SSJ4 Goku in the last episode.
But King Gomah’s Third Eye keeps amplifying him, removing stamina drain and making him stronger every time he’s hit.
The wish restored their bodies but NOT their stamina, forcing them to strategize rather than rely on brute strength.
Goku joins the fight as part of a plan to hit King Gomah in the back of the head three times to remove the Third Eye and finally defeat him.
Goku unleashes his full transformation sequence, going through all his forms… and then finally reveals ADULT SUPER SAIYAN 4 GOKU!
While fusion hasn’t happened yet, Episode 19 is setting up the perfect moment for it in the next battle. Could we still see Gogeta? A new fusion? I break it all down in this video!

1️⃣ Glorio’s Wish – Adult Z-Fighters Return!
The episode immediately confirms that Glorio’s wish was successful — Goku, Vegeta, and everyone else are back to their adult forms.
However, the wish didn’t restore their stamina, meaning they’re still dealing with exhaustion from their previous fights.
This adds a strategic twist to the battle rather than just a simple power-up.
Vegeta vs. King Gomah – Base Form to SSJ3 DOMINATION!
Vegeta steps up first, deciding to take on King Gomah in base form, showing incredible skill and endurance.
He holds his own surprisingly well, even landing several clean hits despite being at a disadvantage.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta activates, and suddenly, he’s DESTROYING King Gomah!
This is the same King Gomah who wrecked Mini SSJ4 Goku in Episode 18, meaning SSJ3 Vegeta is scaling ABOVE Mini SSJ4 Goku!
However, King Gomah’s Third Eye prevents him from weakening — every time Vegeta lands a hit, the eye removes stamina drain and powers him up again.
3️⃣ The Plan to Defeat King Gomah – Goku Joins the Battle!
It’s revealed that the only way to defeat King Gomah is to hit him three times in the back of the head, which will remove the Third Eye and stop his power-ups.
With Vegeta losing stamina, Goku steps in and prepares for his ultimate transformation sequence!
4️⃣ Goku’s Transformation Sequence & ADULT SUPER SAIYAN 4 REVEAL!
Goku starts off by running through all his classic forms:
Base Goku → Super Saiyan → SSJ2 → SSJ3 → SSJ God → SSJ Blue
But then, in a shocking moment, Goku transforms into SUPER SAIYAN 4… in his adult form!
Unlike his Mini SSJ4 version from Episode 18, this is the TRUE SSJ4, fully embracing the classic look with his iconic red fur, bulked-up physique, and primal energy.
The fandom has been asking for this moment for years, and DAIMA finally made it happen.
The episode ends on a massive cliffhanger, with Adult SSJ4 Goku preparing to battle King Gomah.

While fusion didn’t happen in this episode, there are heavy hints that it could happen in the next one.
