I've wanted to enter the NPR Tiny Desk contest for 5 years now and never found the courage to do it. I figure it's now or never; there's nothing to lose for trying, right? If this is the first you're ever seeing of me, hi, I'm Kate, I'm a musician and maker currently hibernating in Lancaster, PA who's traveled all over the country being a burlesque dancing, fire breathing, ukulele playing clown princess of chaos. 5 years ago, my body gave out and my chronic illness consumed my life, so since then I've been trying to find ways to create digital performance spaces with the energy of live events. You can find me conducting my experiments every Tuesday night at 8pmEST on where I combine standup comedy, thoughtful storytelling, improvisational music, and the undeniable power of the kazoo to entertain whomever wanders into our technological tavern.
