Alongside The BioShock Collection's Switch release, upgrades have been released for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. For BioShock and its sequel, it's an adequate but underwhelming 1440p, while Xbox One X renders at 4K - albeit with its own unique issues. BioShock Infinite is confirmed at 1440p for both systems. Bizarrely, if you have your PS4 Pro set to 1080p output mode with super-sampling disabled, native 1080p is the best you get. Surprise upgrades are nice, but bearing in mind that these are PS3/Xbox 360 remasters, we expected better.
