#edrums #rolandtd50x #drums Had a little noodle about today with the TD50 only. Not something I normally do but actually this module can still sound good. With all the new stuff that's hit the market I was keen to see If this aging module can still hold up. Although the sounds are still a bit machine sounding I do think it sounds cool and nice to play.
I used the import sample facility and layered sounds on top of TD50 sounds using Sub instrument, easy to do, toms/kik/ snare all have user samples on, some kits I turned off H&R on snare so I could trigger the sample only from a rim shot, that's great to able to do that too.
This recording just a stereo analogue file from the TD50 into daw and didn't really do anything, the verbs you hear are all from TD50
