Module 2 of the "Foot Techniques" Lab is focused on "Two-Note" groups with the pedals. Playing "Diddles", or two notes in a row with the same foot, is one of the most useful techniques in drumming. So many popular grooves involve creating quick "doubles" with the feet. Also, interplaying "doubles" into fills, between the hands and bass drums are essential for developing fills, solos and great "colors" on the drum kit. I discuss utilizing the "Moeller" technique to create super-fast doubles. Also, I cover creating long "straight" figures with the kicks, such as four 16th-notes in a row. This is a must-have for all drummers and playing levels.

Creating fast "doubles" with the feet
Building speed with the pedals
Fills between hands and feet
Creating long figures of straight notes on the pedals
Building power with the feet
Developing speed and creating drum machine figures on the bass drums
