Kiyotaki Recordings presents KIY011 - Floating

A four track EP, the first track "Meditating" , brings the listener to the present moment with chill nature sounds, like that of the birds, a smooth sub bass and soft heavenly strings. The second track "Oppressed" is an expression of what the artist felt, before understanding there is freedom in denying self, present kicks, echoed snares, tribal percussions, a female vocal, with samples on the background from a video game, played way back. The third track "Floating" is inspired by productions from names like Instra:mental, dBridge or Halogenix, the track is filled with transcendental ambience, different snares that bring dynamic, high and low end fxs, and simple complementary sounds that snap all over it. The final and forth track "Nevermind" is a UK Garage, Breakbeat inspired tune, based on sampling from a old Soul track, delayed with Reese bassline, and some high end bells that bring it to light.
