Over a billion streams in China, over 3.2 billion views on TikTok… Sydney duo Interupt are slowly but surely becoming one of Australia’s biggest musical exports. Now Interupt have reunited with ‘Power’ vocalist Abi Flynn for their new single ‘Tell You’. Abi’s vocals perfectly complement Interupt’s unique fusion of catchy melodies and hard-hitting basslines with that unmistakable Interupt sound.

“After the incredible success of ‘Power’ in 2021, we decided to make ‘Power (In Your Soul)’ which added more vocals,” explain Interupt. “Abi had came across the new version of ‘Power’ as the original version was made out of one of her iconic sample packs. She reached out to us to let us know she thought it was wonderful someone had added some amazing vocals to what she had already written. Hence, we got chatting and after a couple months she had sent us some toplines. We ended up settling on ‘Tell You’ and now we have a record we love that has taken us into experimental territory.”

Abi Flynn adds, “I absolutely love what these guys have done with this hook and how huge they have made the tune! I had this hook sitting around for a while and it hadn’t found the right home… I couldn’t believe how perfectly they brought it to life! Very excited for this one.”
