Let's take a closer look at the NEW 2024 Tamiya Hornet EVO celebrating the Hornet's 40 year anniversary! When this kit was announced back in July 2024, I was shocked that Tamiya had taken an 80's icon and revamped the kit with more modern components. It even comes with a full set of ball bearings!In this video we will do steps 1 and 2. As step 1 is simply charging the battery we are going to skip this step as I never do this right off the bat when we are no where near the step that we need a charged battery for. So most of this video will concentrate on step 2 where we will build the differential gear. As the Hornet EVO uses the gearbox of the DT-03 chassis we are going to have full four wheel independent suspension with this kit...very cool!
