Love Letters was written by Victor Young and Edward Heyman in 1945. Johnnie Ray released this song and eleven others on his self titled album in 1962 while at Liberty. The notes on the back of the album are full of praise for Johnnie Ray and his enduring style and talent. This was to be his last lp in the US. What happened that he didn't record other albums - I don't know. But this is a beautiful album.
