Hungarian Goulash #gromovguru

Ingredients:

Beef - 1 kilogram
Salt - ½ teaspoon
Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
Bread flour
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Onion - 300 grams
Carrot - 250 grams
Garlic - 15 grams
Cumin - ½ teaspoon
Paprika - 3 teaspoons
Bell pepper - 400 grams
Tomatoes - 300 grams
Salt - to taste
Black pepper - to taste
Bay leaf - to taste
Water (boiling water) - 2 liters
Potatoes - 400 grams
Greens - to taste

Cooking method:

Cut the beef into medium-sized pieces, put in a deep bowl. Add salt and black pepper, mix well. Then roll the pieces of meat in flour and fry in vegetable oil on both sides until browned, about 2 minutes on each side. After frying, transfer to a plate and set aside for now.
Cut the onion into medium cubes and fry in a saucepan in the oil left over from the meat. Fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
Add diced carrots and fry for another 5 minutes.
Then add finely chopped garlic, cumin and sweet paprika. Mix well.
Cut bell peppers and tomatoes into medium cubes, put them in a saucepan, and immediately add the fried meat. Salt and pepper to taste, add bay leaf, and pour in hot water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low so that the boiling is minimal. I simmer it under the lid for an hour and a half. Then I add the potatoes cut into medium cubes and cook for another 30 minutes until the potatoes are ready.
