Vintage V100P ReIssued Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst:
The V100PCS stands out among the army of affordable Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul inspired axes for a couple of reasons. First, it's a lovely looking guitar - and having a plain top, as opposed to a flame maple job, is fairly rare. Then there's those stacked Wilkinson P90s, which should give us that lovely gnarly P90 raw with some added fatness, and reduced hum to boot!
The rest of the guitar is exactly what you'd want from an authentic LP-type on a budget: mahogany body and solid maple cap, with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. You also get Grover tuners, a Graph Tect NuBone but, and those lovely Wilkinson pickups as part of the equation.
For slightly under $500/€500, then, this is quite a bit of guitar for your money... but how does it measure up against the competition from the likes of Epiphone? That's what we find out here! In the video, I put the guitar through its paces in as many different genres and styles as I can, from country, folk and indie, to pop, rock, punk, metal and more.

26:47 My conclusions on the Vintage V100PCS and why you should buy it
My setup was as follows: I ran the V100PCS into my Hughes & Kettner Black Spirit 200 head, also using my Greer Lightspeed and my Revv G3 pedals for overdrive and heavy distortion sounds. The amp went from the Red Box DI straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, which went into Logic Pro X. That's it. No post-processing on the sounds was done.
