You might’ve seen workers climbing trees and cutting them down piece by piece—but why not just slice it at the base and let it fall? The answer comes down to safety. In the jungle, sure, dropping a full tree from the bottom is no problem. But in neighborhoods, it’s a different story. A falling tree could crush cars, roofs, or fences. That’s why pros start from the top, cutting section by section and lowering each chunk with ropes to make sure nothing gets damaged.
