The proposed Pune Bangalore Expressway, spanning approximately 700 kilometers, is set to revolutionize connectivity between Pune, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru, Karnataka. Developed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Bharatmala Pariyojna phase II. This greenfield expressway will provide a faster and alternative route compared to the existing National Highway NH-48 (old NH-4). With its eight-lane access-controlled design, the expressway aims to significantly improve travel times and enhance transportation efficiency.
