I recorded that song using my custom made strat featuring:
Kahler vibrato
Seymour Duncan SJBJ / SDBR / SL59
I wired the pickguard with the 9-way switch system
and the middle pickup can be set half out of phase
each humbucker can be in series/split/parallel mode
and finally I added a six position varitone
