Remember, doing exposure practice for a prolonged period of time, while engaging in response prevention is key!
While we affirm that engaging in exposure response prevention can feel uncomfortable and scary, this video is intended to model how to lean in emotionally while practicing exposure response prevention. It may feel difficult to practice with a smile, but believe it or not it will strengthen you to emote in a way that is opposite of how OCD wants you to react.
