When Wild Cherry said "Play that funky music, white boy" they were referring to James Wyler. This Brooklyn-based DJ is what happens when jazz school kids discover Romanian minimal house, and the results cause nothing short of mayhem on the dance floor (see if you can find the easter egg banana peel). This mix is a combination of multiple things. Think smooth jazz meets underground house with just enough hip-hop flavor to keep things unpredictable.
