The Gibb family, raised in a musical environment from a young age, includes the famous Bee Gees, brothers vocal trio. Andy Gibb (1958-1988) the youngest of five siblings, was the first to pass away. One reason the Bee Gees evoke feelings of sadness is because of Andy Gibb’s death. Only the eldest, Lesley Gibb, and Barry Gibb are still alive, but their music continues to express our life, love and sorrow.
"An Everlasting Love" was written by Barry Gibb for Andy Gibb, released in 1978. Barry arranged the orchestra and provided falsetto vocals on the chorus. The song became a Gold record and It was Andy's fourth of five hits.
