Download for free here (enter $0): i wanted to indulge myself and make whatever the fuck i want, so i made another attempt at jersey club. i think i did better this time. Had loads of fun finding g5 show voices to slice up. In particular, there's a part in the g5 song "Hooves Together" where Pipp does a very long and drawn out vocal. Turns out that part was absolutely perfect to use with a glide effect. Some of you will realise that the glide vocal is heavily inspired by Major Lazer's "Pon De Floor"; i couldn't resist because the vocal samples sound so similar. I also learned that arranging the vocal chops properly is very important to get that bouncey effect that jersey club has. The chops also have to be as short as possible and also be ducked out of the way of the kick to get a pumping effect.
I finished this song in pretty much a single day, while the second day was cleaning up and doing the small adjustments. Very amusing how fast i completed it because i've pretty much spent the past six or so months not making any music at all (i've been busy practicing how to draw).Perhaps in the future i'll have 2D cover art i drew myself instead of the usual SFMs
