Thank you for watching this video.
Bellow are details of my affordable self-care routine routine.
I am doing my monthly self-care routine. I start it off with doing my hair. I take off my cornrows, get a scalp treatment and do fresh loose plaits. To prevent hair loss on my hairline. I follow with my nails. I prefer a gel overlay on my natural nails. I do the same on my toes as well.
That is followed by eyebrow threading. It helps me groom them easier on my day to day beauty routine.
I proceed to whiten my teeth using a mixture of toothpaste, bicarbonate of soda as well as activated charcoal.
This is followed by deep cleansing my face with a salicylic acid soap bar, Eskamel soap from Dischem, followed by my makeshift face steamer, using a pot 🤣 that’s then followed by a tea tree face wash. Then a deep cleansing homemade activated charcoal and bentonite clay mixed with apple cider vinegar.
A nice long bath.
Toning my face with Rose water, and then a hydrating sheet mask.
This while enjoying my foot spa
I used epsom salt to relieve pain and dead skin, bicarbonate of soda to promote soft skin and remove any odor on my feet.
This is then followed by moisturizing with pure glycerin. Then wrapping my feet with plastic bags or cling wrap to retain moisture.
Then back to the face, I moisturize with my Woolworths beauty skin care range.
All the items used can be bought at Clicks and Dischem stores all over South Africa.
