Three degrees of separation from The Beatles to Led Zeppelin.

The Beatles 1967 TV special Magical Mystery Tour was inspired by beat writer Ken Kesey's trip across America in his bus Further.
In the UK beat poet Royston Ellis liked to perform his poetry readings to a musical accompaniment, in a fusion of music and poetry.
In 1961 rock guitarist Jimmy Page backed Ellis.
Jimmy Page went on to join the Yardbirds and in 1968 morphed the group into Led Zeppelin.
