Full Video: In this video, I’ll show you how I build a drum break using only Native Instruments Studio Drummer and its built-in functions. Many of the principles applied in this video will work with other Kontakt-based drum kits and similar drum libraries, such as Superior Drummer 3, EZ Drummer 3, Steven Slate Drums, etc.
In a following video, I’ll show you what I’d do next to refine the drum break using my usual stack of third-party plugins and layering samples.
