She makes baskets all day to help the family finances. They have 2 kids at home and she thought her life was over. Now he helps her go to the bathroom, takes shower, wash hair, and help her eat. He's filled with guilt because he was the one driving. The other driver who hit them was ordered to pay them $130k but he never paid a cent since and they are unable to contact him.
He has moved and changed every contact details. It would be too expensive to track them down and they don't have the means to do that coming from a village.
That day, the woman interviewed them both and even took pictures for them. When leaving, the man even gave her a basket she had been looking at as a thank you so in return, she overpaid for the baskets.
