When you put your faith in Jesus, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. However, simply having the Holy Spirit in your life and actually living a lifestyle of walking in the Spirit are two different things. When we have the Holy Spirit in our life but we are not listening to the convictions and the guidance that the Lord gives, we are not making the most of the gift we’ve been given.
