By 18 he had lost his ability to walk. Only his two arms work. By all accounts he was supposed to do nothing in life and relies on everyone to do anything for him but he defied the odds.
When his younger brother got married and moved away, he realized he needed to stop the self pity and against his parents' wishes, moved out. He was able to because he worked as a customer service worker online and saved up some money. He used the money to rent a place and bought ducks. Now he's a duck farmer.
He can do everything himself from feeding the duck to cooking, doing laundry, dishes, and even now also help out his parents. His parents no longer see him as a disabled person because he can do everything that a normal person can.
He can even cook, although he can't see well. So he uses a mirror. When his mother tried to wash his clothes for him, he always told her no because he thinks he can do it.
He also share his stories online so that more disabled people can be inspired to not give up.
