He asked the little boy if he can get some food but he doesn't have his wallet with him. The little boy said yes. When the boy's father returned, the little boy asked his father if he could give the man some food as he had forgot his wallet.
The vendor did not hesitate to say yes. While eating, they got to talking. It turns out the little boy has been sick for a while. It's not known what the little boy is sick from. As the vendor did not reveal. Just that the kid has been eating medicine for 1.5 years. The situation is under control. But the medicine is expensive. The vendor's mother has also just recently gotten a cancer diagnosis. However, it was discovered too late so she's refusing treatment.
Life has been hard on the single father. Having to raise his son, make money, and care for his elderly parents. Hearting this, the man was sad. They said goodbye. But that's not the end of the story.
