He couldn’t stand the old doorstep anymore, so he tore it down to surprise his wife. But breaking it apart was only the beginning. After clearing all the rubble, there was no going back. He carefully prepared the ground and mixed fresh mortar for the new layer.

Then came the details—he applied bonding slurry to the tiles and placed them with care. But he wasn’t finished yet. To make it special, he chose edging tiles in a contrasting color for that final standout touch.

Now, all that’s left is for her to step outside and see it.
