Jaguar's C-X75, unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, was a radical two-seat plug-in hybrid concept powered by four 195 hp YASA electric motors (one at each wheel) recharged in real-time by two Bladon micro-turbines, targeting 780 hp, a 205 mph top speed, and a sub-3.5 s 0-62 mph sprint.
Planned for a limited run of up to 250 units from 2013-15, the project was scrapped in December 2012 amid economic downturn despite five advanced prototypes being built.
Though it never reached full production, several visually faithful versions were built as stunt cars (later road-legal conversion) and featured in the 2015 James Bond film "Spectre", cementing the C-X75's mythic status.
