Download my music: In this video I want to show you the raw sound of the mpc60 without any processing. It is recorded in mono (left channel) and normalized without limiting the signal. You can hear some pops on some of the samples, that's a common problem on the 60s. I read this is solved by adjusting the DC offset of the output.
All the sounds were sampled from "Reel 2 Real feat Erick Moore - The New Anthem" vinyl record. Most of the samples were recorded at high pitch then transposed down 5-8 semitones. The kick and the bass were not transposed. The kick was recorded overdriving the input.
The swing setting is 69.
