Another video with Korg Electribe 2s. This time i composed a chillly soul atmospheric beat using a bounch of one shot samples i loaded. Piano, strings and drums are wav samples from my library, all are one shot sounds that i sequenced using the chromatic scale. I'm not sure if this function is similar to other machines, but E2s put all the notes in a single line, a different way than, for example, Novation Circuit that puts natural notes and alterations in 2 different lines... anyway the process is a little tricky but you can bypass the pre-made scales that are really limitative for a lot of harmonic solutions. I think this machine is really powerful, also if you can't really use all the 16 tracks :D enjoy
