Its the time of the year to wish on a star. Perseid meteor shower peaked on Monday night but I am sure there are some stray ones left to wish upon.Long ago, the stars were not just distant lights but living beings with hearts that beat with the universe's dreams. Among them was Astra, a small star with a curious spirit and a compassionate heart. Astra loved to listen to the wishes of humans, often floating closer to Earth to hear them better.
One night, Astra heard the wish of a young girl named Lila, who longed for her sick mother to get well. Moved by Lila's plea, Astra decided to leave her place in the sky and fall to Earth. As she did, she burned brightly, creating a streak of light across the night sky—a shooting star.
Lila saw the star and made her wish. The next morning, her mother was miraculously healed. Word spread that when you see a shooting star, it's Astra, still listening to wishes and making them come true.
And so, people began to wish upon shooting stars, believing that Astra would hear their hopes and help make them a reality.
