"CODE-F", the band name and signature track from the "Two Worlds Collide" album, first released in the 90's captures the essence of this band's sound and message. "F" stands for "Freedom" and explores how the carnal world around us can ensnare us and all too often give us knowingly or unknowingly, a false identity. An original commercial #drumandbass #christianworship song, the track derives influence from bands and producers including @massiveattack @NeilDavidge, @LeftfieldMusic and @Apollo440VEVO. Special thanks to Sylvana Ashley for her beautifully pure choral harmonies, Rick Yates for his massive Attack style guitar riffs and souring melodies and "The Hill" for his heavy, excellently timed bass stabs. The track is written to combine the gritty, melancholic textures and rhythms from the #bristolsound and #bristolmusic of the 90's and other influential electronic bands of the time with a #christianworship theme.
