Wow where to even start with this Mcnamara alumni center wedding. We talked with Sophie and Jim a long time ago and instantly clicked. We were so excited for their day, and then the world took a turn and like many weddings we had, uncertainty kicked in. However, these two didn't let that stop them from marrying the love of their lives!

The day took place throughout Minneapolis with everyone getting ready at the Marquette Hotel, the ceremony and reception at the Mcnamara Alumni Center, on the University of Minnesota campus, and the rehearsal dinner being hosted at The Windows, near the top of the IDS tower.

The weekend started with a bang, a gorgeous rehearsal dinner with an amazing view on the 52nd floor of one of Minneapolis' most iconic buildings, the IDS tower. After a great meal and some wonderful toasts, the night wrapped up to get some sleep before the big day.

The next morning everyone was at the Marquette Hotel right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The girls and guys both had relaxing mornings with those closest to them. Sophie and Jim hung out with their friends, got ready for the day, and also exchanged letters that morning.

From there the wedding party left for the Mcnamara Alumni Center wedding venue which is an architectural masterpiece. We've seen a lot of venues but this has quickly become one of our favorites. Both the inside and outside boast amazing design aspects which were a joy to capture! Sophie and Jim shared a first touch around the corner, but made sure to not see each other until walking down the aisle. They met at the altar for a wonderful ceremony, and laughed and smiled their way through the rest of the night.

It was amazing to see these two persevere and host a wonderful event with those closest to them. We are so happy we met these two awesome people and were so glad to be able to tell their story!
