In this second part of his series on Psalm 23, Wu Yuzhuang unpacks verses 4 and 5 of this famous scripture. As our Shepherd, God not only leads us into a place of rest, but He protects us against the evil we encounter in life. Pastor Zhuang explains how using three metaphors: one, the valley of the shadow of death, which is the pain we have to go through, but we have the protection of Jesus. Two, God’s rod and staff which protect us from dangers brought upon by others and by ourselves. Three, the table that God prepares for us in the presence of our enemies, which the devil will try to infiltrate. Be strengthened by this sermon and confident of the victory you have in God.
