The Ria Formosa National Park is the centerpiece of Algarve, Portugal, a coastal strip from the city of Faro to the Spanish border. It is one of the largest protected lagoons in Europe. The Ria is 180,000km2 of protected wetland. Between depiction of wildlife and portraits of inhabitants, this documentary takes us to a journey in beautiful Portugal.
