I flip an unfortunately common practice (exposures, exposures, exposures!) and flip it on its head by actually having you master something else first.
Your behaviors. Your responses to that exposure/anxiety provoking situation.
Build the mental muscles. Change small behaviors over time. See how your brain works.
And THEN - we can go do the exciting, sexy part of going outside of your comfort zone by doing all these fun things.
But- if you’re just doing exposures without changing your behaviors before / during / after, you’re wasting your time.
