The Fortress of Eternal Cold (die Festung der ewigen Kälte) stands on a mighty rock of sharp black stone, facing the eternal sea as if its whole existence is justified by the pure fact of resistance against the merciless freezing winds and icy winters.
The inhabitants of the fortress are sturdy and aweless, but even they feel the creeping fear as the great cold invades their bodies and hearts. They sing loud songs and light bright fires to overcome this invisible enemy.
It is said that great secrets and words of wisdom are hidden on the shelves of their library halls, hence a rare visitor is welcome in the fortress as they protect their ancient legacy from the foreign eyes. Only traders and chosen scholars can enter the thick carved gates of dark wood and witness the beauty and majesty of the cold city.
