The City-wide “Recapture the Swale” program focuses on restoring the usefulness of swales as a green stormwater infrastructure and flood control/protection measure. The City is in the process of restoring swales throughout the City as part of this program. The City held a community meeting where participants learned more about the importance of swales and what they can do to help control flooding in your neighborhood.
