Michał Zakrzewski aka DYYU∩E is a DJ, producer, record collector and radio host (WYYDMA vinyl-only radio show for Radio Luz) from Wrocław in Poland. With a few vinyl releases under his belt (solo tracks and edits for The Very Polish Cut-Outs and with Boryn as Astro Buhloone for Astropical Tapes), he is a crate digger looking for unexpected sounds from all around the world. His selection for My Analog Journal is, however, based more locally, with tunes from Eastern Europe (Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary) from the '80s. In this mix, you can find a blend of disco, synth-pop, jazz and experimental music from behind the Iron Curtain. DYYU∩E is closely affiliated with The Very Polish Cut Outs label, making edits, remixes, sampling Eastern European music and playing DJ sets on the label parties. His debut album for TVPCO is coming soon and should be out in late 2021/early 2022.
