moon depends on borrowed light
not the stars that shine so bright

little specks upon the sky
smaller than a firefly
still a sight for every eye
shine upon us from so high
you are there in every song
you are there in every rhyme
in your light my heart belongs
take me to the end of time

generations gone
smiling from up above
looking down upon us
the ones that we love
death will come one day
no matter who you are
soon you will become…
a star…

in our high or in our low
