Almoayyed discovered painting shortly after graduation from Cairo University, where she studied journalism. While under the tutelage if Raquel Doran Klieg, her many hours spent with a brush in hand nurtured a deep, personal passion for painting. Those around her furthered her drive with their encouragement. Soon she began to explore styles outside her academic painting, such as motifs and Impressionism. After becoming comfortable with her control of color and light, she added layers of vibrancy and depth to her work when she discovered the pallet knife. With her scope of possibilities of expression widening, she began exploring Abstract Expressionism under Dr. Mustafa Kamal, in Egypt, who she credits for showing her how to approach the style with courage and vigor, pairing few colors. Her work can be seen hanging in the Bahraini National Museum, and has been exhibited at The Agora Gallery, New York City.
