My wife, Stephanie, and I are musicians who work on cruise ships. In order to get the gig, some require an audition!
Auditions are always unpredictable… but I did NOT expect how much I'd miss the mark on this one! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. Let me take you through my hilariously disastrous cruise ship audition—where I found myself surrounded by a room full of pastel-wearing dancer/singers belting out Suddenly Seymour… while I was dressed like a full-blown rockstar.
