Try this short sequence of upbeat commercial choreography which focuses on footwork. This short workshop for beginners will give you a taster of this dance style.

Commercial dance draws influences from lots of different styles including street dance, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. It refers to the type of dance which is often seen in music videos, Broadway and West End shows.

Lizzie is a dancer and TV presenter who has starred on So You Think You Can Dance and has been a judge on CBBC’s Alesha’s Street Dance Stars. She’s joined by Jourdan and Maria, to practice some simple commercial routines which you can try at home.
