Cauchemar Chemin (French: 'Nightmare Path') is a surrealist-soundmass composer and sound designer of avant-garde classical horror music. Influenced by 20th century composers like Arnold Schoenberg, Krzysztof Penderecki and Iannis Xenakis, Cauchemar Chemin works primarily with live recordings of acoustic instrumentation which are then manipulated with production techniques rooted in the works of industrial acts like Skinny Puppy in order to forge new nightmarish soundworlds.
