Georgia Peskett draws her inspiration from photographs, selecting areas that interest her and then using her artistic instinct and imagination to create. She works primarily with oils, applying paint and wax to layers of primed silk. Peskett’s recent work focuses on contemporary life, portraying individuals and architecture in the urban environment. Her work has been shortlisted for the Threadneedle Prize and she has twice been selected to exhibit in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
