In his debut EP for Laber Nicht Records, he brings his signature sound, such as his rhythmic highs that are found on the track “Face to Phase” to his fat bassline on “Miss Understanding.” The Freiburg-raised producer, of course, has to incorporate nature-inspired sounds heard on the track “Stress am Tresen.”

Somewhere between hating facism and loving music lies Benni Matern. The German-based producer and DJ is actively involved in the electronic underground across Germany’s southwest.

Benni Matern’s music is an electronic journey that started at the age of 14, in his hometown Freiburg, Germany. Where he compiled his own tracks in the comfort of his home studio. What started out as an innocent hobby quickly turned into an addiction. After a decade of countless hours spent listening to, playing and producing all sorts of music, the young musician is now on his journey to navigate the electronic underground.
