One thing that I’ve never tried DIYing before is reupholstering a chair and sewing new covers for it so that’s what I’m trying today! I found this vintage 60’s floral mid century modern chair on Facebook Marketplace and fell in love with the style of it, but not so much the pattern, and wanted to upcycle it to match a Restoration Hardware chair that is way over my budget. The inspo chair I’m replicating uses bouclé fabric which is a tight-knit curled fabric that is super in right now on Pinterest, so I found something similar on Etsy to use. I also wanted to give you guys an updated living room tour including my new chair because so much has changed around my house and thought it’d be cool to show you how it’s evolved since working from home!
