"Like" My Facebook Channel for More Exclusive Music!

Well, it's confession time. Yes, I listen to The Wiz movie soundtrack quite often for inspiration and enjoyment. As you guys know the film came out way back in 1977 and I still remember my parents taking me to the "Show" (as we called it back then) and I remember certain details from that original viewing. Of course the late great Michael Jackson stood out to me because I was a huge "J5" fan at the time but I also remember my parents pointing out that "Dorothy" (Diana Ross) was actually from Detroit and how Lena Horne (Glinda the good witch) was such a living legend. And last but not least was The Music! Wooooweee, with Quincy Jones running things behind the boards and that amazing cast of talented singers and new songwriters like Luther Vandross who penned "A Brand New Day" how could The Wiz not become an iconic movie for the ages. "Brand New Day" has such an optimistic message that I felt it would be good to hear this sprinkled on somebody's dance floor in 2023. Lord knows we need some Good News!!! Enjoy...
