These are all the countries in the world sorted by their alcohol consumption. At first sight, we can see that Europe is taking this seriously. The darkest countries consume on average more than 12 litres of pure alcohol per capita. That's a lot. On the contrary, there are all the Islamic countries in which the consumption is close to zero. In Asia, it varies from country to country averaging at around 5 litres. More than 60% less than in Europe. Australia goes with the flow of Europe. While people in North and South America drink a lot as well. Most of countries drink around 9 litres of pure alcohol per capita.
