The result of the present test is not in accordance with the view of the famous Swiss child psychologist Jean Piaget, who assumed that, at a reflexive level, in neonates there is no coordination between the senses and motor skills. When he heard that young babies were sticking their tongue out in response to the same behavior of a test supervisor, he found it very ' unmannerly' of those babies!
