Way back in 2004 UK based writer and vocalist Erire penned Dusk Til Dawn over a heavy disco backing track created by Danny Howells and Dick Trevor. The result went on to be a club and UK top 40 chart hit and has since become a bona fide classic of its genre. Dusk Til Dawn was playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and supported across the board by the biggest and brightest DJs of the time.
Fast forward a few years and the record was picked up by Amsterdam house hero Mason for its killer vocals and groove. After a few mails to casa David Penn in Spain, it was decided to update the track as a collaboration between the two respected producers.
Erire, who had been working with the electronic legend William Orbit at the time, happily re-sung her original for the boys and the work began. This new 2025 reinterpretation was the result, with Mason and Penn beefing up the production, adding new melodic parts and a sprinkling of European magic.
‘Dusk Til Dawn’ arrives at a timely manner at the start of summer in the northern hemisphere and has the perfect feel-good vibe for the islands, festivals and of course the discotheques overthe coming weeks and months.
